The Workshop will take place in the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación, in the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Building 8E, Access J, specifically in the Assembly Hall and parallel rooms of the Red Building.

Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) is a public, dynamic and innovative institution that is dedicated to researching and teaching. The UPV maintains strong bonds with its social environment and a strong presence abroad.

In the Polytechnic University of Valencia, cohabitation is part of an educational project where students and teachers alike from our four campus sites (Vera, Blasco Ibáñez, Alcoy and Gandía) and the university extension of Xátiva, actively take part.

Currently, the university community is made up of over 42.000 people. Of these, nearly 37.800 are students, 2.600 are members of the teaching and research staff and 1.700 are administrative and services personnel. UPV is composed of 15 University centers, 10 of them are higher technical schools, 3 are faculties and 2 are higher polytechnic schools. Thanks to its great facilities, the Polytechnic University of Valencia is the ideal venue for the organization of congresses and scientific workshops at international level.

Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación

The Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación (CPI) is the Science Park of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The CPI is built following a model of Open Collaboration Network, with a flexible configuration, which brings together public and private agents that share their knowledge and their resources voluntarily.

Event Organization

The ITACA Institute is an research and development entity of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, created with the aim of promoting and undertaking scientific research, technological development and technology transfer initiatives in the field of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Its technological offer is concentrated in five areas:

ITACA, presents a self-sufficient organization in its relation with the companies. In order to carry out the projects, it has a group of more than 280 people, qualified and experienced investigators and technicians, which work in laboratories with advanced equipment available in its facilities of more than 3,500 m2.

Health & Wellbeing Technologies (TSB) is the group of ITACA - ICT systems in Health care, dedicated to the application of Information and Communications Technologies in the fields of Health and Social Services. TSB develops its research by means of its 3 primary lines of action (e-Health, e-Inclusion and Quality of Life) applying to each of these areas, distinctive technologies in which the group maintains the greatest experience (Information Systems Platforms, Wireless and Mobile Communication, Knowledge Management and Ambient Intelligence Technologies).
