The next month December 2011 the III Workshop on Technology for Healthcare and Healthy Lifestyle (WTHS’11) will be held, with the main aim of sharing the advancements reached in the field of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) applied to the Health during the last years, as well as joining forces for looking for a consolidated line of action and with a large scope. The final objective is to create a solid technical-technological background.

This conference will mean the 3rd edition of the homonym workshop organized in the Polytechnic University of Valencia in June 2010 and previously in April 2006. This conference was oriented to promote the discussion about the concept of the technologies of internet 2.0 and the impact that these ones have on the current health systems. In view of the success of this second conference, it is expected the continuation of this periodical meeting with the aim of establishing it as a reference at national and international level in the field of ICT in Health.
